Follow this blog to witness the creation of images based on the Book of Revelation by St. John the Theologian.

The original paintings are being created by the iconographer using the traditional technique of egg tempera and water gilding on wood.

The first two sets of icons are :

The Messages to the Seven Churches and

The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

You can view these completed icons in Gallery 1 and Gallery 2.  Click on the image to go straight to the commentary i have written on it.
